This letter is to confirm that Helms and Associates has been the Prime Engineering Firm for the Mitchell Municipal Airport for the past 6 years. The staff of Helms and Associates has always made itself available to the staff of the City of Mitchell.

Originally hired on a per project basis, Helms and Associates is currently nearing the end of a 5 year selection as Mitchell's Airport Engineer. (as allowed by US-DOT/F.A.A. engineering selection criteria.)

Helms and Associates is extremely competent and well versed in all of the Advisory Circulars and especially the Airport Design Advisory Circulars.
